Lake Mary Event Center Weddings Are Ready For The New Challenges
“Location, location, location,” said Alyssa, Business and Community Engagement Coordinator for the Lake Mary, and Cristin, Assistant Manager, at the same while describing one of the unique aspects of Lake Mary Event Center Weddings.
In the heart of Seminole County, this venue offers lots of flexibility for planning a wedding. “There are not many things that client’s want that they can’t have,” shared Alyssa. “There’s a lot of flexibility here. We have so many indoor/ outdoor options and are fun to tell everybody about those options and see their wheels turning and thinking about how they would want their event to flow. And give them ideas.”

Although the idea of having the entire venue to design an event can intimidate some people, Alyssa and Cristin assure that, for the most part, it is very exciting for other people as they don’t have many limitations at this venue.
Planning Your Lake Mary Event Center Wedding
To start the process of venue searching Cristin suggests that couples need to know what style they are going for.
“They need a movie in their head of what they envision.” She also suggests to not get locked on a date, because when you find your venue then the date falls into place.
Alyssa shares that the first step to plan a Lake Mary Event Center Wedding is to go for a tour.
“When the couple comes, we look at the calendar for dates they have in mind and if they desire to put a hold on a date, we offer a seven day courtesy hold. Besides serving as a way that no other couple can choose that date, that time serves to make a decision, review and approve contract and send the deposit to reserve the date.”
Lake Mary Event Center wedding includes tables and chairs. “We are like a blank canvas. Full building rental for a wedding for an eight-hour’ time block.”
Although the only vendor they require from their list is the caterer, they strongly recommend hiring professional vendors for each of the areas they will need on their wedding day.
“I tell the clients to lean on their vendors because they don’t plan events every day, but the vendors do. Use that to your advantage and trust them,” said Cristin.
“This is just a beautiful venue and I am so happy to take people on tour. It such a beautiful space; it’s so serene. Clients would look back at their wedding and see that it was exactly as they wanted because of all the flexibility that they have and they will look back super positive,” shared Alyssa

The Rotunda. “With the Florida weather being so unpredictable, offering the Rotunda as the rain backup if they want outdoors. We have such a gorgeous backup that sometimes you maybe praying for rain,” said Cristin.
Location. The property is very isolated and with the lake in the back it feels like you are far away, despite of being close of many important roads and having access to great hotels in the area. “You don’t feel like you are in the middle of downtown. It’s like you are in your own little world here”.
“Our events end up being so different because every wedding is unique. This is not a cookie-cutter process.
Inclusivity. Our collections include most of what the couple would need to have a Lake Mary Event Center wedding -from having access to the entire property to the chairs and upgrades,” said Alyssa. “I love the flow of the building and that everything is interconnected. The high ceilings are gorgeous,” added Cristin.

At this moment, due to the restrictions in Seminole County for COVID-19, the venue offers space for 150 people. During regular times, the venue holds 240 people in their main ballroom and 160 for indoor ceremony at the Rotunda.
“All the guests, unless they are eating or drinking and can maintain distance, they are supposed to be in masks,” said Alyssa. “I think that has helped everyone feel more comfortable.”
The venue also has multiple sanitizer stations and the staff has COVID grade disinfectant and they are sanitizing everything constantly.
